Mary Elaind Shaneyfelt,87 of Uniontown,Pa.went to her heavenly rest on Friday,November 18,2011 in the Laurel Ridge Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Fairhope,Fayette Co.,Pa.,on January 6,1924,the daughter of the late Charles Grant and Anna (Spiker) Grant. She was Protestant by faith. She is survived by a son, Samuel Shaneyfelt and wife Shelley of Pittsburgh,Pa.;a daughter,Claudette Batovsky and husband David of Chestnut Ridge,Pa.;a sister,Wilda Davis of Grindstone,Pa. and by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,Samuel Shaneyfelt.
