Mrs. Mary Edna Bachhofer of 122 Schoonmaker avenue,Monessen,died Monday,September 1,1952,at 4:35 a.m. She was born in Salt Lake City,Utah,April 18,1890. She was a resident of Braddock for a number of years,and in 1920,moved to Monessen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Eastern Star Order of Monessen,and the McKean Community,80,Auxiliary of Charleroi. She is survived by her husband,John Bachhofer,Sr.,one son,John,Jr.,of Perryopolis,a daughter,Miss Lois bachhofer at home,a sister,Mrs. Frank Grisy of Wyoming and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Check Home For Funerals. Services will be held there Thursday,September 4,1952,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. Lloyd Erb. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Joseph R. Check is the funeral director.
