(Fairhope); died tuesday;April 28;1970; at
11:45 a.m. at her home.
Mrs. Walters; who was born
in Finland; was a member of
St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran
Church of Monessen.
She moved to Fairhope in 1904
from Monessen.
Her husband; John N. Walters;
died in 1925.
Surviving are two sons; John
A. of Speers Hill and Eugene of
Belle Vernon; three daughters;
Esther at home; Mrs. Marie
Gladstein and Mrs. Lillian Siren
of Pittsburgh; a sister in
Finland; five grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.Wednesday;April 29;and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Thursday;April 30. Service there Friday;May 1;1978;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Donald J.McCold;pastor of St.Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
