Mary E.McNeil;95;formerly of 606 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;died Sunday;July 2;1989;in the Washington County Health Center;Washington;Pa. She was born April 18;1894;in Kilmarnock;Scotland;a daughter of the late Peter and Mary McGinn. She was a member of St.Jerome Roman Catholic Church;the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Goodwill Club;all of Charleroi. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Daniel McNeil and one sister. Survivors include three sons;William McNeil of North Versailles and James McNeil and Clarence (Lucky) McNeil;both of Charleroi;one daughter;Sara Jane Whelply of Bayonne;N.J.;13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m.in St.Jerome Roman Catholic Church;Charleroi;with Fr.John Marcucci;pastor;as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
