She was born April 20;1908;in Pricedale;a daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine Vernok Gongosky. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. She was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon. Survivors include two sons;Thomas Kostella of Jacobs Creek and Edward Kostella of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mary Rozik of Charleroi;two sisters;Josephine Dzitko of Apopka;Fla.;and Frances Hall of East Patterson;N.J.;five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John Kostella on June 3;1979;and two sons;John Kostella Jr.on Nov.8;1990;and Robert Kostella on Jan.31;1982. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Prayer services will be held Monday at 9 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
