Mary E. Babich; 88; of Fayette City R.D. 1; died Thursday;
July 11;1996; in the University
of Pittsburgh Medical Center;
South Side; following a lengthy
illness.
Born June 29; 1908; in Whitsett; she was the daughter of the
late Joseph and Anna Koval
Stayer.
Mrs. Babich was a member of
Holy Spirit Roman Catholic
Church; Fayette City.
In addition to her parents;
she was preceded in death by
her husband; John Babich; a
daughter; JoAnna Babich in
1992; and an infant son; James
Babich; in 1939.
Surviving are one daughter
and son-in-law; Mary Elizabeth
and Richard Marcini of Charleroi; four sons; John Babich Jr.
of Eighty Four; Steve Babich of
Hollywood; Fla.; and Richard
and Daniel Babich; both of
Pittsburgh; 11 grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; two
sister; Anna Stayer of Fayette
City R.D. 1 and Margaret Krempasky of Warren; Ohio.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
and Saturday until 9:30 a.m. in
the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Richard E. Mackiewicz as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home.
