Mary (Dolly) Ackinclose Swartz,72,of Perryopolis died Thursday,April 30,1987,at 9:10 p.m. at the South Hills Health System Jefferson Hospital. She was born March 6,1915 in Madison, a daughter of the late Thomas and Loala Barr Bird. She was an active member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian Church,Fayette City. She was the treasurer of the church Sunday school. She was a member of the True Blue Class, the Elizabeth Bower Chapter of the Eastern Star # 437, Dawson and the Country Stitchers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband,James M. Swartz;one brother,David Bird and a sister, Mrs. Florence Fulmer. Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. Carl (Kathleen Ann) Thompson of Clemson,S.c.,and three sons,Ross Ackinclose of Fayette City R.D.1, Roy (Tiger) Ackinclose of Perryopolis and Barry Ackinclose of Fayette City,R.D.1 and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home,Perryopolis,where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Cromwell officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
