Mrs.Mary Destefano died at the home of her son;John Destefano;630 NcMahon avenue;Thursday morning;January 22;1942;at 1:20 o’clock.  She was born in Italy;coming to Monessen in 1899.  Surviving are seven children;Ralph;Samuel;John;James;Albert and Mrs.Margaret Caterino;of Monessen and Mrs. Ralph Laneve of Newell;W.Va.  Twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.  Friends will be received at the home of her son;Ralph Destefano;1412 Maple avenue;until Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock;when services will be held.  Additional rites will follow at 10 o’clock at Sr.Cajetan’s Church;of which the deceased was a member.  Rev.Pirulli will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
