Obituary
Mary Tadavich Davin,67,of 822 Edwards Ave.,Belle Vernon (Lynnwood),died Wednesday,May 15,1991,at 10:23 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Sept. 15,1923,in Rostraver Township,a daughter of the late George and Catherine Cziczak Tadavich. Mrs. Davin was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen and a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. She retired n 1980 as a remedial reading teachers aide at Marion Elementary School in Belle Vernon. She held memberships in the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly and the Rostraver AARP. Mrs. Davin is survived by her husband, Martin Davin Jr.;two daughters, Mrs. William (Kathy) Basile of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Charles (Nancy) Leeper of Belle Vernon;two sisters,Mrs. Michael (Anna) Wassilchalk of Belle Venron and Mrs. Harry (Helen) Gregory of Belle Vernon;a granddaughter,Jodi Linn Basile of Belle Vernon;and several nieces and nephews.Friends will be received at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 a.m.,followed by Divine Lirurgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church,Monessen,at 10 a.m.,with Msgr.Andrew D. Parvensky,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetey. Services for the dead will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
