She was born in Monessen March 10;1920;daughter of Edward and Petronella Kranalsky Ciepiela. She had lived in Charleroi for 18 years. Surviving are her husband;James E.Hood;one on;Eugene Sarinski;Charleroi;two brothers;Albert of Speers and Joseph Ciepiela of Charleroi;four sisters;Mrs.Genevieve Lasick and Mrs. Caroline Zabowski;Pittsburgh;Mrs.Lillian Fiffick;Monessen;and Mrs.Adeline Skavarek;Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Charleroi;tonight from 7 to 10 o’clock;and tomorrow;2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Monday;March 25;at 10 a.m. and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
