Obituary

A former Belle Vernon woman,Mrs.Mary C.Lynch Beatty,who was supervising sanitarian for the Pennyslvania Dept.of Health for Washington-Greene counties,with her office in Washington,Pa.,died Tuesday,June 4,1968,at 11:45 p.m. in Montefiore Hospital,Pittsburgh,after a short illness.  Mrs.Beatty lived at 350 Tyler Ave.,Washington,and had formerly lived at 125 Brown St.,Belle Vernon.  She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,Washington County Planning Commission and Western Chapter of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Sanitarians.  Born in Akron,Ohio,she was a daughter of the late Samuel J.and Susan Foster Lynch.  Her mother died in 1962.  Surviving are a sister,Mrs.Harold J.(Susan) Ringstad Jr.of Belle Vernon;five brothers,Robert Lynch of Clearwater,Fla.,Matthew Lynch of Belle Vernon R.D.3,William Lynch of Aurora,Ill.,Charles Lynch of North Charleroi and Vincent Lynch of Cornwells Heights,Philadelphia.  Preceding her in death were her husband, Durwood Beatty,in 1948,and a brother,Joseph Lynch,in 1958.  Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon.  A Concelebrated Mass will take place Friday,June 7 at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastain R.C.Church,Belle Vernon.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  H.Denver and David R.Rhome of Monessen are funeral directors.
