Mary Buonocore of Main St.,Pricedale,formerly of Otto Street, Belle Vernon,died Saturday, April 21,1984.at 6:50 p.m. in Westmoreland Manor. She was 79. Mrs. Buonocore was born July 4,1904,in Midland. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Golden Agers,both of Belle Vernon. Mrs. Buonocore was a resident of Belle Vernon area and Rostraver Township most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottavio Buonocore,on Aug. 26,1966. Survivors include three sons, Joseph of Euclid,Ohio,Eugene of Valley City, Ohio,and Leonard of Strongsville,Ohio;two daughters, Mrs. William (Rose) Goroncy of Pricedale and Mrs. Margaret Cunningham of Port Royal Village;nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Avd.,Belle Vernon,where a Prayer service will be held Wednesday,April 25,at 11 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Lodge 3026 will hold a vigil service on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
