Mary B. Sedlar,97,of Monessen,died Saturday,Sept. 24,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Mrs. Sedlar was born May 6,1897,in North Charleroi,a daughter of the late Dieudonne and Julie Porignaux Biernaux. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Mrs. Sedlar was also a member of Monessen Court No.776,Catholic Daughters of the Americas,and the Monessen Woman's Club. Her husband,John G. Sedlar,and two sisters,Alice and Erma Biernaux,are deceased. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law,Joan and George Rose of Phoenix,Ariz.;one granddaughter,Mary Alice Erickson of Albuquerque,New Mexico;and one great-granddaughter,Julia Erickson of Albuquerque,New Mexico. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. Catholic Daughters of the Americas will conduct a wake service Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.
