Mary Auther of Roscoe died
Wednesday; March 15; 1989; in
Mercy Hospital; Pittsburgh. She
was 71.
Mrs; Auther was born Oct. 17;
1917; in Donora; a daughter of
the late Michael and Malunka
Paraschak Scrip.
She was Russian Orthodox by
faith.
Mrs. Auther was retired from
Corning Glass in Charleroi.
In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by her
husband; Bert Lee Auther; 1961;
a son; James Lee; and two
brothers; Joseph and Peter
Scrip.
Survivors include four
brothers; John and Frank Scrip;
both of Roscoe; Mike Scrip of
Elco and Harry Scrip of
Dunlevy; many nieces and
nephews.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in
the Ed Melenyzer Funeral
Homes; Inc.; 1008 Furlong Ave.;
Roscoe. American Legion Auxiliary Post No.801 services will be held Friday at 7:15 p.m.in the funeral home. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.John Rachko;pastor;Holy Trinity Orthodox Church;Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes;Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
