Born Oct.30;1917;in Fairhope;she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Shoman and Luba Mihalich Shoman of Belle Vernon;who survives. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Spina was a member of St.Sebatian Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her father;she was preceded in death by her husband;Rocco;in 1968;and a brother;James Shoman;in 1982. Surviving;in addition to her mother;are a daughter;Bonnie Spina of Belle Vernon;a son and daughter-in-law;Kenneth and Mary Ann Spina of Pittsburgh;two brothers;Nick Shoman of West Newton and Bill Shoman of Rostraver Townhsip;one sister;Barbara Cunningham of Pompano Beach;Fla.;and a granddaughter;Beth Ann Spina. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A prayer service will be conducted in the funeral home Friday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
