Mary A.Evans Lape of 827 Oakland Ave.;Charleroi;died Sunday;Oct.7 at 7:15 p.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was 84. Mrs.Lape was born Sept.22;1900;in Fayette City;a daughter of the late Albert R.and Emma R.Kuhn Evans. A Charleroi resident for the past 54 years;she was a member of the First Christian Church and the Senior Citizens;both of Charleroi. In addition to her parents;Mrs.lape was preceded in death by her husband;Harry C.Lape;1963;and by a daughter;Katherine M.Cmar;Sept.30;1979. Survivors include two sons;Paul A.Lape of Belle Vernon and Paul T.Lape of Charleroi;a son-in-law;Edward A.Cmar with whom she made her home;a brother;Roy Evans of Belle Vernon;a sister;Mrs.Ben (Katherine) Bilotto of Monessen;four grandchildren;three great-grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday;Oct.10 at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.John Brownlee;pastor of the First Christian Church of Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monessen Ambulance Service. The Leonard j.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
