Mary A.Jolley;92;of Brownstown;Fayette City R.D.1;died Saturday;Sept.14;1996;following a lengthy illness. She was born Aug.21;1904;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a daughter of the late John S.and Phyllis Davie Lindey. Mrs. Jolley was a member of the Fayette City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law;William and Margaret Jolley of Fayette City R.D.1;two daughters and sons-in-law;Esther and Leo McCudden of Perryopolis and Shirley and Gino Ferrara of Fayette City R.D.1;two sisters;and a brother-in-law;Phyllis Hickey and Olive and Paul Cope of Fayette City R.D.1;a daughter-in-law;Betty Jolley of Fayette City;R.D.a sister-in-law;Doretha Lindey of Fayette City;12 grandchildren;29 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Stephen Jolley;who died Dec.15;1960; a son;John T.Jolley;who died Oct.3;1994;a sister;Lavinia Lindey Jones;who died Dec.28;1973;two brothers-in-law;Willard Jones;who died Oct.2;1995 and William Hickey;who died Oct.2;1988;and two brothers;Stanley;who died Jan.16;1973 and Louis Lindey;who died Nov.28;1990. Friends will be received in the Howard W.Mccrory Funeral Home;Fayette City Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m.in the Fayette City Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;where services will be held at 11 a.m.with Pastor James Moffett officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
