Mary A. Giuliano,85,of Uniontown and formerly of Belle Vernon,died Monday,March 3,1997,at home. She was born in Jersey City,N.J. July 21,1911, a daughter of the late Steve and Phyllis Abruzzi Angelo. Mrs. Giuliano was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church,Uniontown,the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of St. Joseph's, Uniontown Court Catholic Daughters of the Americas,the Belle Vernon Order of St. Francis Society and the Belle Vernon Legion of Mary of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. She had lived in Uniontown since 1986 and was formerly of Belle Vernon. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Esther and Ernest Trozzo Jr.of Uniontown,with whom she made her home,and Phyllis and Eugene Melvin of Warren ,Ohio;two sisters,Sister Mary Gemma of Hudson, Wis.,and Betty Jane Lazzari of Donora;nine grandchildren,Brenda Beck,Frank Trozzo,Debbie Murello,Todd Trozzo,Jodi Trozzo,Mary Beth Melvin,Veronica Crison,Toni Ann Nicastro and Julie Cavalier and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Frank,who died July 4,1974;and three brothers, Patsy Angelo,Joseph Angelo and Frank Angelo. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev. Donald J. Mondello as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Legion of Mary of St. Sebastian Church and Catholic Daughters of the Americas will conduct services Thursday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
