Martha Pomeroy Hamilton,86,of 408 Wayne St.,Roscoe,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,Monday,January 8,1961 at 5:27 a.m. She was born in Brownsville,Feb.23,1874,the daughter of Amos and Ann Lutetia Hagerty Hamilton. She was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church,and Belle Vernon Chapter 196,Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by one sister,Mrs. Sylvia Kerr,with whom she made her home,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Eckert Funeral Home,Roscoe,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Wednesday,Jan.11,1961,at 2 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. J. Theodore Hanniford,pastor of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ruth and Emil Eckert of Roscoe are the funeral directors.
