Mrs. Martha Phillips,aged 80 years,died Monday,Nov. 13,1950,at 2:30 p.m. at the home of a daughter,Mrs. Elmer Bamford,632 Grandview avenue,Clairton,following a lingering illness. Mrs. Phillips was a former resident of Monessen,and a life-long member of the United Presbyterian Church here. She is survived by six sons,Jack,of Gary,Ind.,Frank and Bert,of Clairton,Charles, of Coal Center,James, of Beaufort,S.C.,and Robert,of South Park;three daughters,Mrs. Dora Eisley,of Bridgeville,Mrs. Herman Snyder,of Ligonier,and Mrs. Bamford,with whom she made her home;20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Finney-Bekavac Funeral Home,555 Sixth St.,Clairton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon,Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m. from the funeral home,with Rev. Earl K.
