Mrs. Martha G. Briner,88, died at 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15,1966 at the home of her son, Dr. J.Clifford Briner, 424 East Main St.,West Lafayette,Ohio. She was born June 25,1878 at Hays, Kan.,the daughter of Jacob and Annie E. Reggar Feitz. She was married March 17,1899,to Harvey M. Briner,who expired in 1927. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Vivian E. Moudy of Buffalo,N.Y.;one brother,Joe Feitz of Hays,Kan.; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Crawford of Sacramento,Calif.,Mrs. Lulu Copland of Boulder,Colo.,Mrs. Esther Symanski of Portland,Ore.,and Mrs. Ann Williamson of Downey,Calif.; seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. One son,one brother and one sister are deceased. In recent years,Mrs. Briner had divided her time between the home of her son and daughter. She was a member of trinity Methodist Church,Buffalo,N.Y. Private service will take place Monday evening,Oct. 17 at the Bonnell-O'Neil Funeral Home,with Rev. Charles Ireland,pastor of the West Lafayette Methodist Church,officiating. Private burial will be at Belle Vernon,Pa on Tuesday.
