She was the daughter of the late William Minnie and Margaret Carson and the wife of the late Luther McIntyre Sr. Martha’s greatest joy was to raise her family and teach them to love the Lord;love yourself;and love your country. She and her family were very active in the Pleasant Green AME Church in Pricedale. She leaves an empty place in the hearts of her sons;Luther Jr.;of Belle Vernon;and Marlon of Manassas;Va.;daughters;Lutrica Osborn of Ayden; N.C.;Shelma Lee of Pricedale and Bonnie Chilton of New Eagle;sister-in-law;Bernice Minnie of Charleroi;14 grandchildren;20 great-grandchildren;and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday;Jan.9;2012;in the HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL;546 Thompson Ave.;Donora;where the service will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday;Jan.10;2013. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
