Obituary

Mark Relich,82,of North Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Jan.29,1998,at 1:31 a.m.,at home. Born May 30,1915,in Monessen,he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Sutovich Relich. A resident of Belle Vernon since 1945,Mr.Relich was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church. He retired in 1972 from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.where he had been a wire drawer. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Martha Krupen Relich,who died March 31,1962. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law,Mark and Lianne Relic Jr. of Boston,Mass.and Robert C.and Deborah Relich of Perryopolis,two brothers,George Relich of Fairhope and Nick Relich of Garden City,Mich.,eight sisters,Mildred Marini of Detroit,Mich.,Dorothy Milkovich of Stockdale,Bertha Cverkovich of Port Charlotte,Fla.,Pearl of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Ribik of Valpararso,Ind.,Catherine Loulis of Fayette City,Betty Ann Hazy of Monessen and Joann Relich of New York,N.Y.,three grandchildren,Richard C.Relich,Lisa Relich and Leigh Anne Bruno,and one great-granddaughter,Kirstie Bruno. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home,with the Rev.John Kluchko of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
