Born March 7;1927 in Monessen;she was the daughter of the late Guido and Florence Americo Moncini. Mrs.Dellamalva was educated in the Monessen schools and had been employed as a medical secretary in the office of Dr.Malcolm Weiss;Monessen. A member of St.Leonard’s R.C.Church;Monessen;she was a member of the Church’s Ladies Guild. Mrs.Dellamalva was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America;Court 776;Monessen;and was immediate past president of the Monessen Catholic Business and Professioanal Women;Our Lady of Fatima Chapter. Survivors include her husband;Frank N.Dellamalva;a daughter;Maria L.Dellamalva;at home;two sons;the Rev.Dennis F.Dellamalva;assistant pastor of Mother of Sorrows Church;Murrysville;and Dean R.Dellamalva of Monessen;a grandson;Dean R.Dellamalva;Jr.;and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her step-father;Bruno V. Dreucci. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A wake service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m.;at the funeral home. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St.Leonard’s Church;with the Rev.Dennis F.Dellamalva;Mrs.Dellamalva’s son and the assistant pastor of Mother of Sorrows Church;Murrysville;as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family requests;in lieu of flowers;that memorial contributions be made to the Mother of Sorrows Building Fund or St.Leonard’s Memorial Fund;through the funeral home.
