Mrs. Marion E. Auther; of 209 Water St.; Fayette City; died yesterday at 3 p. m. in Mon Valley
Hospital following a short illness. She was 64.
Mrs. Auther was born April 16; 1916; in Stockdale; a daughter of the late Ernest and Amy Jones
Astle.
She was a Protestant by faith.
Mrs. Auther was preceded in death by her husband; Dell S. Auther; July 19; 1979.
Survivors include one son; Kenneth R. Auther at home; one daughter Mrs. Thomas (Ella Marie)
Davis of Fayette City; two brothers; Woodrow Astle of Belle Vernon and Raymond Astle of Pittsburgh;
two sisters; Mrs. Lawrence (Doris) Tulley and Mrs. Loma Jean Greco; both of Altoona Pa and two
grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Fayette City after 7 p.m.
today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
