Obituary

Marion (Bunny) Spiker Harris Pinasko, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and best friend, 77, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, in her residence. She was born Sept. 5, 1931, in Fairhope, daughter of the late Emerson Spiker and Margaret Grant Spiker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and Past President of the Washington Township Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired custodian from the Bell Telephone Co. Bunny was special to each and everyone who entered her home, but favorite pastimes were crocheting afghans and playing poker with her family. She and Andy loved gambling at Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Andrew Pinasko, three daughters, Margaret Mascara and Jon Neil, of Belle Vernon, Glady LaGamba and husband, Rick, of Pittsburgh, Andria Trenk and husband, Dave, of Latrobe, seven grandchildren, Rick LaGamba Jr., Kayla LaGamba Gigliotti and husband John, Colin and Ian Trenk, Camden Mascara, Brandon and Ashton Neil. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carey Lee Harris, brothers Melvin, Emerson and Elmer Spiker, sisters Gladys Spiker Kelley and Connie Carr. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main St., Fayette City on Sunday noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, June 22, until 11 a.m., the hour of services with Rev. Donald Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon.
