after a lingering illness.
Born in Clarksburg; W. Va;
she was a Monessen resident for
the past 50 years.
She was a member of the First
Christian Church in Monessen.
Surviving are her husband;
Sam; a sister; Mrs; William
Bailey of R. D. 2; Belle Vernon;
a brother; Clarence Matheny of
Monessen. Her father; Harold V
Matheny; preceded her in death
in 1958.
Friends are being received at the
H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home
in Monessen after 7 p. m. Wednesday.Thereafter visiting hours will be
2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m. Services will take place at the funeral home on Friday;March 2;at 1:30 p.m.;conducted by the Rev.Wayne M.Tolson;pastor of the First Christian Church in Monessen. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H.Denver Rhome;funeral director.
