Obituary

A brother and sister,both residents of North Charleroi,died Saturday,Oct.30,1971,within three hours of each other in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Marion (Lefty) Ray Sr.,74 of 334 Highland Ave.,died at 3:35 p.m. His sister,Mary Ray Teulle,80,of 448 Olive Ave.,followed him in death at 6:11 p.m. Mr.Ray was born in France on Aug.14,1897. Mrs.Tuelle was born in France Aug.1,1891. Mr.Ray was a member of Sts.Cyril and Methodius R.C.Church,Charleroi,and was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel's Allenport Works where he was a plant guard. Surviving are his widow,Margaret Dolan Ray,one son,Marion Ray Jr.of North Charleroi,one daughter,Mrs.Eileen Barrass at home,five grandchildren,one great-grandchild,two brothers,Joseph Ray of Charleroi R.D.1and Samuel Ray of North Charleroi,and four sisters,Mrs.Victoria Bayens of Charleroi,Mrs.Blanche Pensis of Mt.Lebanon,Mrs.Jean Sepesky of Monessen and Mrs.Margaret Angioletti of Monongahela. Surviving Mrs.Tuelle,in addition to the above brothers and sisters,are two sons,Fernanand Teulle of Oakland,Pittsburgh,and Charles R.of Wayne,N.J.,and five grandchildren. Her husband,Charles A.,preceded her in death March 8,1954. Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.at the Michael A.Melinchak Funeral Home,Charleroi,where a Blessing service will be held Tuesday,Nov.2,at 10:30 a.m.followed by a Mass at 11 a.m.at Sts.Cyril and Methodius R.C.Church,Charleroi, with the Rev.Andrew J.Bialobok officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer,funeral director in charge.
