Mario Alfred Rocchino;59;of 713 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;owner of Rocchino Cleaners;died Monday;Aug.9;1976 at 5:58 p.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born March 15;1917 in Italy;the son of the late Saverio Rocchino;who died in 1963;and Vittoria Ganino Rocchino of Italy;who survives. Mr. Rocchino served in World War II and was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He was in the dry cleaning and tailoring business for 37 years;starting out on Belle Vernon’s Main St.and moving to 420 Broad Ave;in 1951 and 719 Broad Ave.;in 1963. Besides his mother;he is survived by his widow;Rose Apicella Rocchino;two daughters;Elaine;at home and Mrs.Hector (Lillian) Rodriguez of Cookesville;Tenn.;one son;Jonathan Paul Rocchino at home;two brothers;Joseph Rocchino of Belle Vernon and Aldo Rocchino of Italy;and two sisters;Mrs.Felica Ciranni and Mrs.Lolita Vaccaro;both of Italy. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Tuesday from 7 to 9:30 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A Blessing service will be held Thursday Aug.12;1976 at 9:30 a.m.at the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish Rosary will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m.at the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
