Marilyn J. Marklewicz; 76; of Fayette Avenue; Belle Vernon; passed away Thursday; Sept. 26; 2002; in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late John Marshall Bevan and Phyllis S. Murray Bevan; she was born July 30; 1926; in Charleroi. Mrs. Marklewicz was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and its H.O.A. class. Formerly of Charleroi; she had resided in Belle Vernon since 1952. Survivors include her husband of 55 years; Joseph G. Marklewicz; one son and daughter-in-law; Scott and Judith Marklewicz; and one brother and sister-in-law; Marvin and Marlene Bevan; all of Belle Vernon; one sister and brother-in-law; Nancy and Raymond Jones of Donora; one grandson; Jared Minor; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one son; James Bevan Marklewicz; who died in 1968; one brother; John M. Bevan Jr.; and three sisters; Doris Bevan; Priscilla Stickle and Jane Gray Thomas. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Services will be held in the chapel at Belle Vernon Cemetery on Monday; Sept. 30; at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Ramsey officiating. The elders and deacons of First Presbyterian Church will meet in the funeral home to hold services on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
