Marilyn Smith Hennerty,64,of 115 Orchard Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,March 26,1995,at 7:23 p.m. in her home. Mrs. Hennerty was born May 26,1930,in Long Island,N.Y.,a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Dorothy Hawkins Smith. She retired from Sweeney's Restaurant in Rostraver Township where she had been employed as a waitress. A Protestant by faith,she had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 31 years. Her husband,Joseph P.Hennerty,died Aug. 30,1987. Surviving are two daughters,Mrs. Raymond (Kathleen) Ambrose of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Barrett (Patricia) Wyman of Cranberry Township;two sons,Joseph Hennerty of Pittsbugh and Thomas Hennerty of Fairfax,Va.; five grandchildren;and one sister, Mrs. James (Janice) Watson of Culpeper,Va. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Thomas St. Clair,pastor,First United Methodist Church, Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
