Mrs. Marietta E. (Boyer) Karlosky,aged 51 years, 1035 Broad avenue, Belle Venron,died Wednesday,Jan. 19, 1955,at 9:30 p.m. at her late home. A former resident of Monessen, the deceased had been a member of the following organizations: V.F.W. Auxiliary,No. 167,Charleroi,American Legion Auxiliary,No. 128,Monessen,Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose, Belle Vernon and Gold Star Mothers, Monessen. Surviving ae her mother, Bessie Boyer of Belle Vernon; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Shirley) Swarthout of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, Frederick of Charleroi; a brother, James Boyer of Monessen; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Otto of Coal Center,Mrs. Grace Burton of Los Angeles,Mrs. Ruth Welsh of Smithton and Mrs. Dorothy Meikle of Chareroi and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon, between the hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday,Jan. 2,at 2 p.m. from the funeral home,with Rev. Vernon Bowers,pastor of the First Christian Church,Monessen, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R. Toner,funeral director.
