Mrs. Marie (Peerman) Hill,82,of 322 Third St.,Monessen died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Sunday,Dec. 8,1963 after a lingering illness. Mrs. Hill,who had been a Monessen resident for many years, was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church of Monessen and had been treasurer of the Stewardess Board of the church. She was born Dec. 26,1880. Surviving are her husband, Clarence E.;two sons, Clarence E. Hill,Jr. of Suffern,N.Y. and Lowranzel Hill of Monessen; one niece,Mrs. Marie Carter of Monessen;eleven grandchildren,four grandnieces and one great-grandnephew,Shawn Carter. Friends are being received at the DuBoise H. Carter Funeral Home,Monessen,during hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service Thursday,Dec. 12,at 11 a.m. in the Wayman A.M.E. Church, Monessen. The Rev. Latimer,pastor,will officiate,assisted by the Rev. D.D. Chatman,pastor of Union Baptist Church of Monessen. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise H. Carter,funeral director.
