Marion Barbara Cubbage, 85, formerly of Belle Vernon and Monessen,died Tuesday, May 8,1990,in the Edgewood Nursing Center, Youngstown, Pa. Miss Cubabge was born Jan. 31,1905,in Swissvale,a daughter of the late Charles and Main Swank Cubbage. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for several local banks,for Victoria Coal and for Lincoln Homes until she retired in 1970. Miss Cubbage was a member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church,Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Leah in 1920;a brother,George in 1921; a brother,Charles Lester in 1970;a sister, Minnie Reabe in 1987 and a sister Gladys Martin in 1990. Surviving are a sister, Margaret Cenkner of Latrobe; a brother, William Arthur of New Providence,N.J.;2 nieces;5 nephews and several grandnieces and grand nephews. There will be no public visitation. The family suggests donations in Miss Cubbage's memory may be made to Lynnwood Lutheran Church or the Alzheimers's Disease and Related Disorders Association. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
