Obituary

Mrs. Mary Silvania,68 year ol Belle Vernon resident hit by a car near her home Monday night,September 12 died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital early Wednesday September 14,1955. Mrs. Silvania,of 419 Main street, Belle Vernon,succumbed to head and body injuries suffered in the mishap. The police said that Mrs. Sulvania,crossing Main street near her home,was hit as she stepped from between two parked autos into the path of Mrs. Frances Boltze's vehicle. She was taken to the hospital,where she died at 1 a.m. on Wednesday.  Mrs. Silvania is survived by her husband, Fiore Silvania, a daughter, Mrs. Louise Yowonske of Belle Vernon and five sons, John,who is serving with the Navy,Philip of Belle Vernon,Frank of Carbondale, Ill,Tony of Clearwater,Fla. and Louis at home.  Friends are beig received at the Toner Funeral Home in North Belle Vernon from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Silvania at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,North Belle Vernon at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.  Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
