Mrs. Marie Olivetto Merando,died Tuesday, July 9,1946 at 12:45 p.m.,at her home on the city park road. Surviving are two sons, Sam,with whom she had made her home for the past 16 years,and Louis of Fairmont, W.Va.,three daughters, Mary and Rose,of Monessen and Sister Mary,a nun in Italy. A sister in Italy and a brother, Joseph Olivetto,of Faimont. W.Va.,also survive,along with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Check Funeral home,where brief services will be held Friday, July 12 at 9:15 a.m.,with additional rites to follow at the St. Cajetan Church with Father Nunzio Pirelli officiating. Interment, Belle Vernon Cemetery. Joseph R. Check,funeral director.
