Marguerite E. Mihalic,63,of DuBois R.D.4,formerly of Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Sept. 28,1977 at 5:25 p.m. in Latrobe Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Waltersburg on Sept. 19,1914, a daughter of the late Curtis R. and Bertha Anderson Headley. She had lived in DuBois the past seven years,having previously been a resident of the Belle Vernon area most of her life. Surviving are her husband, Joseph A. Mihalic; two sons, LeRoy A. Nicolaus of Belle Vernon and Lawrence O. Nicolaus of Monessen; one daughter, Mrs. Carroll (Eleanor) Harne of Rockville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. James (Thelma) VanDivner and Mrs Mario (Lillian) Pesi,both of Belle Vernon and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Colas of First Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
