Margaret Owens Walters; 94;
of North Charleroi; died Sunday;
Dec. 29;1991; in the Washington
County Health Center.
Born Jan. 4; 1897; in
Bridgeville; she was the
daughter of the late Thomas and
Alice Pearce Owens.
Mrs. Walters was a member
of First United Methodist
Church; Charleroi; and the
Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents; she
was preceded in death by her
husband; George Walters; on
May 17; 1972; a son; Thomas
Walters; three brothers; Reese;
Raymond and William Owens;
and a sister; Alice Michener.
Surviving are one daughter;
Roxalina Tamblyn of Endwell;
N.Y.; two grandchildren; Scott
and Georgia Tamblyn; one
great-granddaughter; a
brother; James Owens of
Newell; and two sisters; Violet
Fitzpatrick and Agnes
Wickerham; both of Carroll
Township.
Friends will be received Tuesday
from 7 to 9 p.m. in the
Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home
Inc.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.;
Charleroi. There will be no
visitation Wednesday; Jan. 1;
1992;and services will be held in the funeral home Thursday;Jan.2;1992;at 9:30 a.m.;with the Rev.Kenneth M.Lashen;pastor of First United Methodist Church;Donora;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.
