Born in Roscoe;she had been a resident of Monessen for the past 77 years. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church;Monessen. Mrs.Smock was preceded in death by a son;Veciles. Surviving are her husband;Russell V.;several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday at the Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.John A.Graham;pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church;Monessen;officiating.
