Mrs.Margaret Shephard;73;formerly of Belle Vernon;died at Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg on Friday;April 24;1970 at 4:30 p.m. She was born Nov.8;1896;in Roscoe;the daughter of David and Elizabeth Collins Maxon. She had lived in Belle Vernon over 35 years;and was preceded in death by her husband;Ross Shephard;in 1958;and a son;James;in 1959. Survivors are one sister;Mrs.Kathryn Trettel of orlando;Fla.;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.;Saturday. Services will be held there Monday;April 27;at 10 a.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
