Margaret E. "Peg" Moran, 99, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 2:10 p.m. at Country Care Manor, Washington Township. Born Feb. 10, 1916, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Daniel W. and Jean Kennedy Moran. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Peg was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon, a clerk at the former Geezer's Pharmacy, Charleroi and past member of the former Belle Vernon Fire Co. No. 2 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends, Elaine Tordy and Kurt and Terri Shutterly and family. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Jean Douthitt, Mary Jane Wickman, June River; and a brother, Clive Moran. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015, at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Jones, Pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
