Margaret Peg Burke Hough;69;of 127 Crest St.;Speers Hill;died Saturday;March 6;1993;at 2:28 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mrs.Hough was born May 3;1923;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret Doyle Burke. A protestant by faith;she was a lifelong resident of the Monongahela Valley. Her husband;Harold S.Hough;died March 28;1979. Surviving are two sons;Stephen H.Hough of Pittsburgh and Stewart D.Hough of Speers Hill (with whom she made her home);four sisters;Mary and Nolace Burke;both of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Joseph (June) Hamrock of Monessen and Georgetta Higgins of Charleroi;nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Donald A.Bowers;pastor;First Christian Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
