Obituary

Margaret Pascoe of 117 Jean St.,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Dec.4,1985,at 7:10 a.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. She was 88. Mrs.Pascoe was born April 3,1897,in Black Diamond,a daughter of the late George and Janet Finley Johnston. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and the Fayette City American Legion Auxiliary. A former Fayette City resident,Mrs.Pascoe had lived in Belle Vernon the past 45 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,Llewellyn,in 1947,two sons,James and Lewis,and a daughter,Doris McMilen. Survivors include two sons,George of New Castle and Robert of San Bruno,Calif.,four daughters,Iona Michener,with whom she made her home,Margaret Stanko of Belle Vernon,Janet Brandemarte of Donora and Mrs.James (Nancy) Trombino of Belle Vernon,31 grandchildren,31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday,Dec.7,at 1 p.m. with the Rev.Thomas St.Clair,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
