Margaret Nunnie Mencarelli; 93; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Saturday; April 7; 2012. A daughter of the late Anthony and Maria Pulice Gigliotti; she was born in Belle Vernon on Jan. 28; 1919. A lifelong resident of Speers Hill and Belle Vernon; she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and loved baking; crocheting and playing canasta. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; Ronald and Deborah Mencarelli; of Little Mountain; S.C.; one daughter; Ranel Mencarelli; with whom she made her home; of Belle Vernon; two grandchildren; Marcy Hutchinson and her husband; Jess; of Little Mountain; S.C.; and Holley Wing and her husband; Eric; of Columbia; S.C.; five great-grandchildren; Shane Hutchinson; Caleb Wing; Jake Hutchinson; Brittany Wing and Aaron Wing; one brother and sister-in-law; Alex and Ramona Gelotti; of Belle Vernon; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Evo J. Mencarelli; in 1977; two children in infancy; twins; Toni and Gary Mencarelli; in 1947; three sisters; Jennie DeFazio; Rose Niccolai and Millie Russo; and five brothers; Victor; Silver; Sam; Mickey and John Gelotti. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed in the funeral home Tuesday at 3 p.m. led by members of St. Sebastian Parish.
