Mrs.Margaret M.Bamford;79;formerly of 440 Mckean Ave.;Donora;died Sunday;June 7;1970;at 9:30 p.m.in Jefferson Hills Convalescent Home. Mrs.Bamford had lived in Ridgeview Terrace and Donora 50 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church;Donora;Women’s Society of Christian Service of the church and its Senior Ruth Circle Bible Class. She also belonged to Order of Eastern Star;Chapter 90 and Historical Society;both of Donora. Born in Blythedale;Allegheny County;she was a daughter of the late Thomas H.and Maria Jane Laughlin Martin. Her husband;Mark H.Bamford;died in 1935. Surviving are three daughters;Mrs.Donald (Virginia) Wood of Monongahela;Mrs.Charles (Mildred) Darby of Plano;Tex.;Mrs.Lawrence E.(Betty) Roberts of Donora;two brothers;Charles H.Martin of Belle Vernon and Charles A.Martin of Charleroi;five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home;Donora;from 7 to 10 p.m.June 8 and 1 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.June 9. Service there Wednesday;June 10;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Hengust Robinson;pastor of First United Methodist Church of Donora;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
