Obituary

Margaret Fedora, 8l, of Fayette City (Lowber), died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in her home with her loving family at her side. She was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Lowber, a daughter of the late John C. and Johanna Chyka Turcheck. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Fayette City, and its Rosary Society. Surviving are three sons, John Gerard Fedora and wife Jenny and Edward David Fedora and wife Lisa, all of Clarksville, and Timothy George Fedora and wife Kathleen of Gibsonia, two brothers, Joseph Turcheck of Belle Vernon and Louis Turcheck of Fayette City, with whom she made her home, five grandchildren, John Paul Fedora and wife Amy, Matthew Fedora, Nicole Fedora and fiance Brian Nusida, Nicholas Fedora and Elizabeth Fedora, and one great-grandson, Jacob Daniel Fedora. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fedora, three brothers, Edward, John and Floyd Turcheck, and three sisters, Anna M. Turcheck, Mary Tisot and Justine Levandosky. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 4, until 9:30 a.m., when a blessing service will take place, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit R.C. Church with the Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin as celebrant and Rev. Father Richard E. Mackiewicz and Rev. Fr. John Sedlak as co-celebrants. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. On Monday, the Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m., and a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
