Obituary

Mrs.Margaret Spiker,nee Grant,of Fairhope,Fayette City,R.D.1,died at the home of her daughter,Mrs.Jack Kelly of Fairhope,Friday,April 13,1951,at 12:20 a.m. She was born in Washington Township,November 19,1900,and was a member of several organizations in Belle Vernon including the Women's Benetti Association,American Legion Auxiliary,Washington Township Firemen's Auxiliary,and the Monessen Salvation Army,at Fairhope. She is survived by her husband,Emerson Spiker,two sons,Elmer at home,Emerson,Jr.,United States Army,stationed at Camp Atterbury,Indiana,two daughters,Mrs.Jack Kelly and Mrs.Carey Harris,both of Fayette City,R.D.1 and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Monday,April 16,1951,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Major Neil Hood,Salvation Army,of Allentown. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
