Margaret Modrak Fabian; 90; of Belle Vernon; died Thursday; Jan. 10; 2008; at 10:30 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Oct. 4; 1917; in Belle Vernon; she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Motchski Modrak. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 60 years; Mrs. Fabian was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and a homemaker. She was a member of the Belle Vernon Civic Club; the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas; Court Belle Vernon 1522; and the former Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Fabian was an avid bridge player and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by a son; George Joseph Fabian Jr.; of Belle Vernon; a daughter and son-in-law; a brother and sister-in-law; William and Norma Modrak; of Roscoe; a sister and brother-in-law; Irene and James Mendicino; of Belle Vernon; two sisters-in-law; Norma Jean Fabian; of Monessen; and Dolores Modrak; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; George Joseph Fabian Sr.; and two brothers; Michael and Frank Modrak. Visitation will be held at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183) on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m.; at which time a prayer service will be held in the funeral home; followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C.
