Margaret Cecelia; 97; of Monessen; passed away on Tuesday; Jan. 4; 2011; in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Monessen on Nov. 14; 1913; she was the daughter of the late William and Maria Kerlick Ferencz. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She was a wife; mother; grandmother and wonderful lady. She worked for Murphy’s 5 and 10 for more than 10 years prior to her marriage. She was proud to receive her G.E.D. diploma in her 50s. She was a 50-year member of the CD of A. and received the Governor’s award for more than 50 years of attending consecutive meetings. Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph C. Cecelia; two grandchildren; Paul and Joseph Rodi; four brothers; Michael; William; Walter and John Ferencz; and one sister; Anna F. Canova. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; Walter W. Cecelia; of Monessen; and Richard J. and Fran Cecelia; of Baldwin; two daughters and a son-in-law; Vincentine Cecelia; of Monessen; and C. Anne and Paul Rodi; of Carnegie; and two grandchildren; Elizabeth Cecelia and Richard Rodi. Private family viewing was held today in the ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.; Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue; (724) 684-3700. A blessing service was held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by a noon Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
