Mrs. Margaret Hawker Smith, 81,of Perryopolis R.D. 1,formerly of Mt. Lebanon,was dead on arrival at Brownsville General Hospital Sunday, Aug. 18,1968 at 4:10 a.m. Her husband,William Smith,is deceased. Mrs. Smith was born in Dunbar on June 10,1887,a daughter of the late James P. and Emma C. Hanan Hawker. She was a member of Ruth Chapter 89, Order of Eastern Star,Dormont,and Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother,Robert of Perryopolis R.D.1 and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Services there Tuesday,Aug. 20,at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Fred G. Gnafuk,pastor of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church at Fayette City R.D.,officiatig. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
